Three guys are on the way to a wedding celebration when an old sailor (the Mariner) stops one of them at the door. Hooking their attention, he starts to explain his disastrous, unique story.
The beaming sun remained in the morning, but at evening, the north Pacific wind howled bitting at the ship, piercing holes with dark mist. He explains about the Albatross being shot and the rest of the crew members being furious with him. They all believed that the albatross saved them from the icy bitter weather. The albatross made the mist disappear and bring back the bright golden sunlight.

This is good – there’s only one wedding guest who is being compelled to listen by the Mariner. Also, what’s happening to the sailors now?
